In the third year of my university life, I got to learn about machine learning for the first time after joining a university workshop. I learned to build a straightforward digit recognition model using convolutional neural networks, which piqued my interest in how these systems function automatically
My passion for data science has encouraged me to apply my knowledge in meaningful projects. As a data analyst intern, I worked on datasets to produce concise effective visuals via popular visualization tools and also made large or complex data more accessible and understandable. From this internship, I’ve learned to draw data in a way that helps to analyze content meaningfully as well as to leverage human visual perception to communicate.
My goal is to pursue a program of study that combines theoretical concepts with hands-on application, allowing me to develop a greater understanding of data science and its potential. I will also strive to understand the ethical implications of artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making, and work to ensure that these technologies are used responsibly. I am confident that my passion for data science and my dedication to my chosen field of study will enable me to make a positive contribution to the field of data science.
